ABOUT THE PRODUCT

This is the official FILIFEST 2025 merch. The front design is by our Design Competition winner Jessica Geneve (IG: @Jessicageneve_). The back design showcases FiliFest and some of our sponsors (soon to come).

Jessica's brief explanation of her design:

After just coming back from Philippines I was instantly inspired to create a collage of celebrations and the sense of community that the Philippines offers.

Whilst I was there, I attended many birthday parties with karaoke blasting til the late evening, ate a lot of delicious food and celebrated the Panagbenga festival in Baguio so I wanted incorporate all of that into my drawing.

I also wanted to show everyday life as a community such as drinking together, and the beloved jeepney that takes the people of the Philippines around in their everyday life.

I myself love vibrant tropical colours so I made sure to add in all the colours available, to highlight the vibrancy of the islands. My drawings are stacked deliberately in a circle to show the different celebrations coming together as a whole.

No dyeing is involved in the Natural Raw colour, giving it a beautifully pure effect. Textured with tiny specs of the original cotton plant, including seed particles, it shows the true colour and essence of cotton.
